Life has come full circle for me
when I think of Lake County....
In the early 1970's, my claim to
fame is my parents started a fruit stand called Amy's Acre in
Upper Lake. I remember taking Sunday family drives and
exploring my grandparents' ranch. In 1976, my parents decided
to move to the Bay Area, but we made many trips back to Lake
County. Never did I imagine twenty years later, we would
make our home here.
I graduated from San Jose State
with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration with a
Marketing concentration. Working as an account manager, my
focus was long hours and traveling to my accounts. After I
married my husband, my goals and ideas started to change. We
wanted to give our daughter, Lindsay, the experience that my
husband and I had growing up in a small town. Coming from the
Bay Area, I appreciate the clean air, quiet atmosphere, and
quaint charm of Lake County. I feel lucky to have been able to
buy our first home in Hidden Valley Lake. I love our community
and all it has to offer!
